A little about me and my approach to my work...
I am known for being creative, being flexible about the process, yet firm on the final result. I am passionate about the quality of my work, and I  adapt quickly to new situations and challenges. I am organized, accurate, and detail-oriented. I'm a good communicator and team player and can work collaboratively with art directors, designers, producers, developers, and outside vendors. I enjoy working with teams of any size.
I've been creating for as long as I can remember, but my journey into graphic design really came by accident. After finishing up my studio art degree at CSU Sacramento, I decided I wanted to study animation art and graphic design. I wanted more reasons to be creative, as I didn't know which creative career path I was interested in. I've always had a love of learning!
Since my studies, I have enjoyed working in an animation studio with an amazing production team, working as a creative director and independent contractor for non-profits, and as a freelance designer and artist working with clients within a variety of fields. I believe my education in studio art, graphic design, and animation art lends itself well to creating visual, artistic, and technical solutions that are visually effective, and user-friendly.
If I'm working in my studio on other creative projects, such as painting or drawing, I like to answer questions with the abstract, or with symbolism. My art studies had an emphasis on Italian Renaissance art, and that still inspires me greatly to this day. Color theory and architecture were first loves also, and I just enjoy the process of feeling my way through a new idea. I am really interested in how art makes other people feel too, and am always curious about their take on the finished piece.
I have a keen eye for detail, am always eager to develop and provide solutions for my clients, and I love getting to know the personality behind a company's ideas and project dreams. I strive to provide visual answers to a variety of creative problems. If you would like to work with me on your next project, please contact me.
